Three males have been arrested within the homicide case of a candy store proprietor, Ghaziabad Senior Superintendent of Police Kalanidhi Naithani mentioned on Monday.

Following a tip-off, a police staff from Loni arrested the three accused from Khadkhadi village railway crossing within the morning, he mentioned.

The homicide occurred on July 16 when candy store proprietor Manoj Das was sitting inside his outlet in Chirori city of Loni police station space, the SSP mentioned.

Earlier than killing Manoj, the accused had looted a motorbike from a passerby of the identical city, SSP Naithani additional mentioned.

An FIR was lodged following a grievance by the sufferer’s uncle Ghanshaym Das through which he acknowledged that some assailants fired upon his nephew Manoj who later died because of his bullet wounds in a hospital in Mohan Nagar, Sahibabad, he mentioned.

Vinod, the daddy of accused Vineet, was arrested the next day after the shootout for giving shelter to his son. The three males have been despatched to jail whereas their different accomplices are but to be arrested, SSP Naithani added.
