A 36-year-old girl was arrested for allegedly stealing a complete of Rs 57 in two installments from the home of her good friend’s mom in Hauz Qazi space of Central Delhi, police stated on Saturday.

The police additionally arrested her two brothers with whom she had shared the booty, the police stated.

The accused have been recognized as Pratap Nagar resident Pooja and her brothers Varun (29) and Amit Dabar (40), who reside in Sitaram Bazar, they stated.

The case was registered in Hauz Qazi police station on June 29 on the criticism of a 65-year-old girl Pushpa, a resident of Sitaram Bazar in Central Delhi.

In her criticism, she informed police that she and her relations had offered a plot of land with joint possession for Rs 1.5 crore in 2015.

Police later recovered Rs 29.43 lakh from the trio and seized a flat value Rs 22 lakh and jewelries value Rs three lakhs, purchased from the stolen cash, from their possession, they added.
