Kolkata:
A 68-year-old lady and her daughter had been killed in a fireplace of their home in south Kolkata’s Parnasree space on Saturday afternoon, police stated.
Three others obtained minor accidents within the hearth that broke out on the two-storied constructing on Dijen Mukhopadhyay Highway round 12.40 pm, they stated.
Two hearth engines doused the fireplace, and catastrophe administration personnel rescued three individuals from the constructing, a senior officer of the Kolkata Police stated.
Severely burnt our bodies of Soma Mitra and her daughter Kakoli Mitra (44) had been present in a room on the primary ground of the home, he stated.
“Going by the preliminary findings, plainly the fireplace was attributable to an electrical brief circuit. The 2 girls acquired caught inside and couldn’t come out. Nevertheless, we’ve initiated a probe into the matter,” the officer stated.
