Two terrorists have been on Monday killed in an encounter with safety forces in Srinagar, police stated.
Safety forces launched a cordon and search operation in Outdated Barzulla space of the town in Srinagar within the early hours of Monday morning after receiving particular inputs concerning the presence of terrorists within the space, a police official stated.
He stated round 7:45 am, when the searches have been occurring, terrorists fired upon the forces.
The forces retaliated, ensuing an encounter, the official stated.
Two terrorists have been killed within the gun struggle, he added.
The operation is occurring and additional particulars are awaited, the official added.
