A 17-year-old lady was allegedly raped by a lab technician inside a hospital right here when she went there to use for a job, police stated on Thursday.
The person, who labored as a lab technician on the hospital, has been arrested, they stated.
The incident occurred on August 9, police stated.
In line with police, the lady acquired in contact with the lab technician on the hospital by her good friend, following which they turned mates.
Since she was additionally searching for a job, he requested her to satisfy her on the hospital on the pretext of getting her a job. He later took her to his lab’s cabin and allegedly raped her, they stated.
After returning residence, she narrated the incident to her household.
On August 11, she alongside together with her mom approached police and filed a grievance.
A medical examination was carried out and the accused was arrested in reference to the incident.
“We have now registered a case below varied sections of rape and the Safety of Kids from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act on the North Avenue police station. The accused has been arrested and we’re investigating the matter,” a senior police officer stated.
