IAS officer Hardik Satishchandra Shah has been appointed the Non-public Secretary (PS) to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in keeping with a Personnel Ministry order issued on Thursday.
Mr Shah, a 2010-batch IAS officer of Gujarat cadre, is at present serving as a Deputy Secretary within the Prime Minister’s Workplace (PMO).
He has been appointed because the PS to the prime minister on co-terminus foundation, the order mentioned.
Earlier than transferring to the PMO final yr, he labored because the PS to Atmosphere, Forest and Local weather Change Minister Prakash Javadekar.
