Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has authorised development of buildings of 70 flooring or extra in 5 main cities of the state, the federal government mentioned on Tuesday.

As per the current guidelines, the utmost permissible restrict for tall buildings within the state was 23 flooring.

Now, the state authorities has determined to amend the Frequent GDCR (normal improvement management laws) to permit development of high-rise buildings of 70 or extra flooring in Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat, Rajkot and Gandhinagar, an official launch mentioned.

New guidelines concerning tall buildings authorised by the federal government shall be relevant to buildings which might be over 100 meters in top.
