Maharashtra authorities staff in Jalna who stay absent from their places of work of posting amidst COVID-19 pandemic will now need to pay penalties, district collector stated on Monday.

The quantity of high quality ranges from Rs 1,000 to Rs 2,000 per day for staffers and officers.

The motion is prescribed below the Nationwide Catastrophe Administration Act, collector Ravindra Binwade stated in an order.

“Officers and staff of respective division should keep at their headquarters and shouldn’t depart. If any worker is discovered absent, a high quality of Rs 1,000 shall be slapped per day towards him,” it stated.

A penalty of Rs 2,000 shall be relevant for head of the division involved.
