Shahdol:
A 35-year-old lady allegedly killed her cousin at the moment on suspicion that she was having affair together with her husband in Madhya Pradesh’s Shahdol district, the police stated.
The incident happened at Padhkar village, 45 km from the district headquarters.
The accused was recognized as Roshani Kewat.
The girl suspected that her cousin Lalita Kewat, 30, who lived close by, was having affair together with her husband, stated inspector Mahendra Singh Chauhan of Budhar police station.
“Roshani misplaced her cool when she noticed Lalita speaking on cell phone. She thought Lalita was chatting with her husband. She picked up an axe mendacity close by and hit Lalita within the neck thrice, killing her on the spot,” the official stated.
“Now we have arrested Roshani for homicide,” Mr Chauhan stated.
