The physique of a 32-year-old lady who fell into an open drain a few days in the past in Ghatkopar within the metropolis was discovered floating within the Arabian Sea off the Haji Ali Dargah coast, over 20 kilometres away, early Monday morning, police mentioned.

The lady fell into the drain in Asalfa within the north-eastern suburb on Saturday night as the realm received flooded resulting from heavy rains, after which a lacking individual criticism was filed by her relative, a Ghatkopar police station official mentioned.

“Tardeo police knowledgeable us of the physique being discovered at sea off the Haji Ali Dargah coast. The household recognized the corpse from the garments and ornaments on it,” he mentioned.

Tardeo police station senior inspector Firoz Bagwan mentioned the physique was discovered close to Haji Ali Dargah lotus level.
