Nevertheless, reservation for OBC candidates underneath All India Quota is restricted to Central Establishments,” she added.
Mrs Gandhi stated the denial of reservation to OBC college students in state medical establishments is a barrier to entry of medical schooling for deserving candidates.
“Within the curiosity of fairness and social justice, I strongly urge the Union Authorities to increase reservation for OBC candidates in All India Quota of medical and dental seats, even within the State/UT Medical schooling establishments”.
