Twitter mentioned hackers “manipulated” a few of its workers to entry accounts in a high-profile attack on the social media firm, together with these of Democratic presidential challenger Joe Biden and tech entrepreneur Elon Musk.
“We all know that they accessed instruments solely obtainable to our inside help groups to focus on 130 Twitter accounts,” mentioned a press release posted Saturday on the corporate’s weblog.
For 45 of these accounts, the hackers have been in a position to reset passwords, login and ship tweets, it added.
