UGC-NET Examination Postponed, To Be Carried out September 24 Onwards

New Delhi:

The Ministry of Schooling’s testing company on Monday postponed the Nationwide Eligibility Take a look at (NET) after its dates had been clashing with Indian Council of Agricultural Analysis (ICAR) examination.

The NET was scheduled to be carried out from September 16 to September 25. It should now be carried out September 24 onwards.

“The Nationwide Testing Company will likely be conducting ICAR exams on 16, 17, 22 and 23 September. In view of that, UGC- NET 2020 Examination will now be held from September 24 onwards,” stated Sadhana Parashar, Senior Director, NTA.

“This is because of some widespread candidates in each exams and the requests acquired thereof. The precise schedule of subject-wise and shift-wise particulars will likely be uploaded subsequently,” she added.

The June 2020 examination together with varied different exams needed to be postponed because of the COVID-19 pandemic and the resultant lockdown.

The brand new schedule for varied exams was launched by the NTA within the final week of August.
