Prabhat Mishra, an confederate of gangster Vikas Dubey, snatched pistol of a police official and fired from it whereas being taken to Kanpur on transit remand, a senior police official mentioned, including that the person was died following the retaliatory motion.
Addressing a press convention, senior police official Jyoti Narayan mentioned Kartik alias Prabhat Mishra, was a needed felony and was arrested from Faridabad on July eight.
“Whereas he was being delivered to Kanpur on transit remand, he snatched police pistol and fired at two policemen who suffered accidents. In retaliation, police fired upon him and he was later pronounced lifeless within the hospital,” he mentioned.
Mr Narayan mentioned additional investigation was being executed.
Prabhat Mishra and Bahua Dubey, shut aides of Vikas Dubey, have been killed in separate encounters in Etawah and Kanpur.
Vikas Dubey was arrested by the police from Ujjain at present morning.
