A 14-year-old woman was allegedly raped by her neighbour on Wednesday in Uttar Pradesh’s Better Noida and the accused has been arrested, police mentioned.
The incident came about on the rented lodging of the accused, round 22, in a village below the Beta 2 police station limits round 12 pm, police mentioned.
“The woman and the accused dwell in reverse rooms in the identical constructing. When the woman’s relations left for work, the accused referred to as her to his room on the pretext of requirement for a Matchstick. When the woman went there, he pressured himself on her,” Deputy Commissioner of Police (Girls Security) Vrinda Shukla mentioned.
An FIR was lodged below the Indian Penal Code Part 376 (rape) and provisions of the Safety of Kids from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, she mentioned.
