A girl was overwhelmed to dying in Jharkhand’s Giridih district on Monday after she was branded a witch, police stated.
The incident occurred in Gawan police station space of the district and Khuri Mahua’s subdivisional police officer Naveen Kumar Singh stated they’re probing the incident.
Gita Devi’s relations alleged that she was overwhelmed to dying by some folks of her village.
Police stated that the people who find themselves being accused of killing her belong to a household that had an previous feud with Gita Devi and her kinfolk.
She was launched from jail lately.
