The Haryana Police on Wednesday mentioned they’ve arrested a person from Sirsa district for alleged involvement within the printing of faux foreign money.
A police spokesperson mentioned they seized counterfeit notes with a face worth of Rs 93,500, a printing machine and 584 currency-size papers from the accused.
He mentioned police had acquired a secret enter concerning the printing of faux foreign money at Kharia village in Sirsa by the accused, recognized as Manohar Lal.
Upon receiving info, a police group was constituted which performed a raid and arrested the accused from whom 4 faux notes of the denomination of Rs 2,000, 167 notes of the denomination of Rs 500, 9 notes of Rs 200 and two of Rs 100 denomination have been recovered.
One of many accused’s associates managed to flee, the spokesperson mentioned, including he has been recognized and shall be behind the bars shortly.
