Shiromani Akali Dal chief Sukhbir Singh Badal on Monday rejected the Centre’s hike of Rs 50 per quintal within the minimal help worth of wheat by the Centre.
Mr Badal described the hike as “completely insufficient”, saying this got here as a “large disappointment” to the farmers who’re already battling “unremunerative costs” of their produce.
