China on Wednesday slammed worldwide criticism over a controversial new nationwide safety legislation for Hong Kong, saying different international locations ought to maintain their noses out.
Western governments and critics have warned the brand new legislation will curb the town’s freedoms and undermine its “One Nation, Two Methods” governance scheme, which technically permits freedoms unseen on the mainland.
However Beijing officers rebuffed the criticism of the legislation at a press convention.
