The Gautam Buddh Nagar police on Friday arrested two males with one in every of them accused of raping a young person and the opposite serving to within the act, officers mentioned.
The boys, each aged round 20, and the woman, 14, lived in the identical village in Higher Noida and had been identified to one another, the officers mentioned.
“One of many accused had raped the woman on October 7 and the opposite had cooperated within the episode. The woman’s household had reported the matter yesterday and an FIR was lodged instantly, resulting in the arrest of the accused at this time,” police official Dinesh Kumar Yadav informed PTI.
The accused had been arrested on Friday whereas they had been on the Yamuna Expressway, above the underpass to Faleda village.
In keeping with Mr Yadav, the accused are jobless, whereas the woman’s father is engaged in agriculture and her mom is a housewife.
The FIR has been lodged beneath Indian Penal Code sections 376 (associated to rape) and 342 (wrongful confinement), the police mentioned.
