Two individuals had been arrested on Monday for allegedly raping a 14-year-old woman and importing the video of the act on social media, a senior police officer mentioned.
The incident happened in Namkum police station space in Ranchi district on July three when the accused males, each aged 18, barged into the sufferer’s home whereas she was alone, he mentioned.
They allegedly raped her and made a video of the incident and uploaded it on social media, senior police official (Ranchi Rural) Naushad Alam mentioned.
The cell phone used for making the video and a reminiscence card by which it was saved have been seized, the officer mentioned.
The accused individuals have been charged underneath sections the POCSO Act, he added.
